Ici pas de surproduction, pas d'effets tapageurs, pas de collaborations prestigieuses et parfois vaines, pas de recherche éffrénée du titre susceptible de séduire les radios.
Acoustic Soul porte bien son titre, comme la pochette résume bien l'artiste. Simplicité, sincérité, talent juste et éblouissant, compositions aériennes. La grâce émane de ce premier album.
Des titres comme « Video » sont immédiatement adoptés par le public, la seule égnigme concenant Acoustic Soul est la non attribution d'un Grammy Award, malgré de multiples nominations de l'interprète et de l'album.
Acoustic Soul se déguste comme un mets rare, un nectar sonore à consommer sans aucune modération.
