Succédant à Signed and Sealed in Blood paru en 2013, 11 Short Stories of Pain & Glory constitue le neuvième effort studio de la formation punk celtique Bostonienne Dropkick Murphys. Gorgé de textes engagés portés par des riffs cinglants et des attributs musicaux tirés du folklore irlandais notamment, l'album, enregistré pour la première fois en dehors du Massachussetts à El Paso (Texas), est en outre animé par les travaux du groupe avec le Claddagh Fund pour des toxicomanes en cours de désintoxication. Publié sur le label du groupe, Born and Bred Records; ce nouvel effort contient notamment le single "Blood".
