Rubber Soul

Rubber Soul is a South Korean hip-hop duo formed in Seoul in 2015. The group, named after The Beatles' 1965 album Rubber Soul, initially consisted of members Choi Cho, Kim, and Lala. They made their debut with the single "Life," featuring Mad Clown, released by Universal Music and Happy Tribe Entertainment. Their first performance was on February 10, 2015, on SBS MTV's The Show, marking their official entry into the music scene. They continued to promote "Life" as well as "Lonely Friday," featuring Jinsil of Mad Soul Child, across various shows. Rubber Soul also engaged with their audience through street performances in Hongdae and live performances of unreleased songs like "Choice" and "Beautiful Woman." In early 2015, Rubber Soul appeared as guest members on the first episode of SNL Korea 6. They later performed alongside prominent Korean artists at the Asian Music Network festival in September. In October 2015, they were also featured as part of a promotional marketing campaign for Vans and its winter collection, Designed for the Elements. After the departure of band member Lala, Rubber Soul continued as a duo. They released their first EP, Love Is, in 2017. Meanwhile, member Kim ventured into solo activities, participating as a contestant in the reality show Unpretty Rapstar 2 and later in The Unit.
