Publié en 2019, quelques mois après une compilation éponyme reprenant l'essentiel de ses maxis parus en date, Without fear constitue le premier album studio de l'auteur-compositeur-interprète irlandais Dermot Kennedy. Délaissant partiellement la recette à la croisée de la folk rustique et de la soul qui lui avait valu des comparaisons avec certains de ses concitoyens comme Glen Hansard, Kennedy adopte une approche plus pop sur son premier recueil et décroche une première place à domicile ainsi que dans les charts britanniques avec l'aide du single "Outnumbered".
