A l'instar de Only One Flo, Pt. 1 paru en 2010, Wild Ones de 2012 est un album court flirtant avec le maxi contenant neuf titres (dans sa version standard) s'enchaînant sans logique particulière, mais Flo Rida sait faire d'idées simples mais fûtées des morceaux à l'énergie contagieuse comme "Whistle", sur laquelle le rappeur pop fait un clin d'oeil à la célèbre réplique de Lauren Bacall dans "Le Port de l'angoisse". Le morceau titre rappelle quant à lui le "Fireworks" de Katy Perry, mais version musclée. Flo Rida joue la carte de la trouvaille du hit tout en semblant chercher à s'amuser alors que l'album défile vers son final farfelu à la LMFAO. Un disque léger, plein d'astuces, à consommer par petits bouts mais qui atteint son objectif premier de proposer suffisamment de musique apte à lancer une soirée réussie.
