Bien en selle au sommet de la country dite néo-traditionnelle, Kenny Chesney expédie les affaires courantes avec efficacité. Sans forcer non plus, et on est ici assez loin de ses meilleurs albums que ce soit No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems (2002) ou When the sun Goes Down (2004).
Le duo avec Tim McGraw « I Feel Like a Rock Star » participe à cette paresse artistique en labourant des paysages maintes fois rebattus. Le public de l'artiste n'a d'ailleurs pas fait un triomphe loin s'en faut à ce single prévisible. « Come Over » a lui été mieux considéré, et se situe dans la moyenne des ballades ourlées par la voix chaude et virile du cowboy du Tennessee.
« El Cerrito Place » arrive également à convaincre, mais encore une fois nul ne songerait à se relever la nuit pour l'écouter. Pour compenser d'un album vraiment sans surprise et où l'ennui guette même le fan le plus averti, Kenny Chesney offre une version en public de son duo « You and Tequila » avec Grace Potter, enregistré en concert à Red Rocks.
C'est tout et c'est peu, pour un treizième album qui n'a pas d'autre fonction que d'être coincé entre le douzième et le quatorzième d'une des plus grandes stars country des années 2000.
