Finnish power metal masters Nightwish show off their softer side on Walking in the Air: The Greatest Ballads. Pulling songs from the bands first four albums, the compilation takes listeners on a tour of some of the bands most dramatic detours, retaining all of the pomp and bombast of their other material while adding a new level of emotion. Though these may be the songs that most Nightwish fans might instinctively avoid, anyone looking for a collection of seriously dramatic power metal ballads should look no further.
