Bien que le duo LMFAO puisse se vanter d'avoir sorti des titres comprenant des synthés Euro-pop et des riffs inoubliables bien avant leur hit avec David Guetta, "Gettin' Over You", se retrouver en têtes des classements britanniques et français pendant plusieurs semaines grâce à ce tube international leur a fait le plus grand bien. Leur deuxième album, Sorry for Party Rocking, arrive pile au bon moment et offre un mélange savant d'énergie et d'humour, couplé à une bonne dose de sincérité. Certes, ils commencent avec humour -- voir l'intro " Rock the Beat II " et la chanson-titre -- mais à partir de là, ils se concentrent davantage sur des morceaux orientés club et vie mondaine, avec des titres comme "Champagne Showers", "Best Night" et "All Night Long". Dans l'ensemble, il est clair qu'on ne trouvera pas mieux que LMFAO d'un point de vue pop commerciale à l'approche de la deuxième décennie de ce millénaire.
