Il ne fait aucun doute que Trey Songz a grandi et s'est imprégné des chansons de R. Kelly jusqu'à en trouver quelques réminiscences dans ses deux premiers albums, I Gonna Make It et Trey Day.
Il n'y avait pas que cela. La sensation R&B de Virginie surnommée le prince montrait d'autres ressources comme son aptitude à concocter des titres efficaces avec dans la voix une aisance de crooner qui en font l'une des futures stars du genre. Ce troisième album enfonce le clou avec des sucreries comme « Neighbors Know My Name ou « I Invented Sex », en duo avec Drake (aussi sur « Successful »), mais aussi et surtout des ballades avec le gimmick qui tue (« I Need A Girl », « LOL »).
Sur les dix-sept titres de la version internationale, il y a bien sûr des scories ou miévreries difficiles à avaler à jeun, mais le bel étalon aux pectoraux tatoués sait faire passer l'ensemble avec son chant fluide et relax (« Say Aah »).
