Publié en 2018, My Indigo constitue le premier effort éponyme du nouveau projet de la hollandaise Sharon den Adel, vocaliste de la formation metal symphonique Within Temptation. Effectuant un virage complet par rapport à ses travaux avec le groupe, Adel offre une collection de dix titres résolument pop aux sonorités ancrées dans leur époque, mises au service de sa voix à la fois puissante et cristalline comme sur le single "Crash and Burn". Fort de la popularité de Within Temptation et de la fidélité de ses nombreux fans de la chanteuse, My Indigo s'offre notamment la troisième place des charts néerlandais ainsi qu'une belle 6ème position dans l'Ultratop flamand.
