If in its previous album, Cuadros Dentro de Cuadros, el Catupecu Machu went experimental, mixing very peculiarly their powerful rock with electronics, this one finds them traveling in more conventional roads. Anyway this is not exactly a "return to roots," but a step forward into the most concise sound ever achieved by the group. Lyrically this is also the most twisted and darkest production. The main topics are around the nightlife and its adventures and about different kind of loss (death, relationship breakups). There are pretty good songs, like the first single "Magia Veneno," "Preludio al Filo en el Umbral," "Sol Infierno," and specially "En los Sueños." Like in any Catupecu Machu album there's also a cover. In this case, the one is "Plan B: Anhelo de Satisfacción" from the Argentinean cult-band Massacre. Again, Catupecu Machu, has managed it to make it sound as its own. It doesn't reach the heights achieved in its masterpiece Cuentos Decapitados but it's a pretty good album, full of band's typical energy but somehow more directed.
