Riki
Italy's Riccardo Marcuzzo, aka Riki, is a pop vocalist who first came to the public's attention after competing on the 16th season of the TV talent competition Amici di Maria De Filippi. In 2017, he released his debut album, Mania, which went double platinum, and in 2020 he issued his chart-topping sophomore effort, Popclub.
Born in Milan in 1992, Riki became interested in performing at a young age and was first attracted to acting before switching his focus to singing during his teens. In 2016, he finished as runner-up behind dancer Andreas Muller on Canale 5's Amici di Maria De Filippi, after which he signed with Sony Italy. In 2017, he released his debut EP, Perdo le Parole, which reached the upper echelons of the Italian albums chart, and later that year he issued the full-length Mania, which went double platinum on the strength of the massive hit "Se parlassero di noi." A pair of non-album singles, "Gossip" and "Resulta" (featuring Reik)," arrived in 2019. The following year, Riki unveiled his sophomore long-player, Popclub, which soared to the number two slot in his Italian homeland.
