Lucy Hall

Lucy Hall is a British soprano. A pupil of Yvonne Kenny and a Samling Scholar, she attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 2010 with first-class honors and the Dove Memorial Prize. She also won the Ann Wyburd Prize for lieder performance. During this time, she studied voice with Susan McCulloch. From 2013 to 2014, she received further training at the National Opera Studio. A performer in operas, Hall has sung with the Scottish Opera as Euridice in Gluck's Orfeo ed Euricice, the Glyndebourne Touring Opera as Sandrina in Mozart's La Finta Giardiniera, and with the Glyndebourne Festival Opera as Zerlina in Don Giovanni. She has also given concert performances and recitals, primarily in the UK. She has recorded the role of Flora in Britten's The Turn of the Screw, the wordless vocal part in Nielsen's Symphony No. 3, and in Colin Davis' performance of Weber's Der Freischütz, all on LSO Live.
