Lone Justice started as a Los Angeles cowpunk band in 1984 that, in a short period of time, became much more before self-destructing two years later. Unfortunately for both band and public the whole thing caved in before instant MTV-type success found them. Their records, featuring powerful vocalist Maria McKee, still sound fresh today unlike others from that genre. The Lone Justice volume of the Millennium Collection series focuses on the best of their two studio albums, Lone Justice and Shelter, and contains a terrific selection of their very best, including "Ways to Be Wicked," "Don't Toss Us Away," "Wheels," and "Sweet, Sweet Baby (I'm Falling)." Also check out the McKee sampler as part of the 20th Century Masters series.
