Wolfgang Dörner
Austrian conductor Wolfgang Dörner was born and raised in Vienna, and he pursued music studies at the Vienna Academy of Music and Performing Arts, studying with Charles Mackerras, Rolf Reuter, and Franco Ferrara. Since 1993, he has been a professor at the University of Music in Graz, and with his doctorate in musicology, he has researched the music of Joseph Lanner, Johann Strauss I, Johann Strauss II, and Josef Strauss.
