Stellar

Stellar was a South Korean girl group formed in 2011 by talent agency The Entertainment Pascal. The group's lineup consisted of Minhee, Hyoeun, Soyoung, and Youngheun before they disbanded in 2018. Initially produced by Eric Mun from Shinhwa, Stellar debuted in 2011 with the single "Rocket Girl." The group continued working on new music, and their single "Study," released in 2013, charted in the Gaon Digital Chart top 100. This brought them more attention and traction, developing an enthusiastic fanbase. In 2014, Stellar issued their first EP titled Marionette, which peaked at number 19 on the South Korean charts. Over the course of the following years, the band expanded their catalog with more releases: the single "Vibrato" in 2015 and the EP Sting in 2016. Their success was further consolidated with the release of the single album Cry in 2016. Stellar continued with activities and changes in their lineup. In 2017, they added a new member, Soyoung, and later released the Stellar Into the World EP, reaching number 13 on the global Billboard chart. Despite their ever-growing popularity, it was announced that the group had called it quits after the departure of Minhee and Hyoeun in 2018. Following their disbandment, the members revealed challenges they faced as pop performers, including financial difficulties.
