Kenziner
Finland's Kenziner was formed in 1997 by budding guitar hero Jarno Keskinen, who called upon vocalist Stephen Fredrick, and American drummer Dennis Lesh (late of doom legends Trouble) to aid him with the recording of the following year's Timescape CD. This contained a mixture of power, progressive, and neoclassical (think: Yngwie Malmsteen) heavy metal, and was followed by a sophomore outing named The Prophecies in 1999, by which time Lesh had been replaced with one Brian Harris, and keyboardist Mikko Harkin had come on board to flesh out the group's sound. Vocalist Fredrick was soon to exit, however, and together with Harris, would go on to found new band Firewind, leaving both Kenziner and Keskinen to vanish into obscurity.
