Kenji Ozawa

The Japanese pop musician Kenji Ozawa was born in Sagamihara, Kanagawa in 1968 and became famous in Japan as a member of the band Flipper's Guitar alongside co-founder Keigo Oyamada. The band were successful during the late 1980s playing music heavily influenced by British bands such as Haircut 100 and Orange Juice.

Ozawa had an acrimonious split with Oyamada in 1991 and left to pursue a solo career. His debut album was released in 1993 with the curious title 'The Dogs Bark, But the Caravan Moves On', later to be re-released in 1997 simply as 'Dogs'. In 2006 the artist released an instrumental set titled 'Ecology of Everyday Life' and then effectively retired from public life. After a break from recording which lasted thirteen years, Ozawa released the album 'So Kakkoii Uchu' in November 2019.
