Hanover
The Canadian rock group Hanover started life around 1982 as Hanover Fist. Members of the original lineup were lead singer Frank Zirone, guitarists George Bernhardt and David Alpin, bassist Chris Brockway, and drummer Kim Hunt. In 1984 the group landed a recording deal with MCA Records.
Somewhere between that signing and the finished recording, the group went through a lot of changes, from shortening its name to changing some members in the lineup, and even switching from more of a harsh type of heavy metal music that club fans were used to hearing over to milder hard rock.
In 1985, Hanover saw the release of three offerings to fans; one single, one EP, and one full-length album, Hungry Eyes. Some of the tunes from that debut album include "Looking for Love," "Fear No Evil," "Rock Bottom," "Maze," and "High Speed Roller."
