His popularity became so large that he was able to begin recording songs for Bollywood films starting in 2017 with Hindi Medium. He recorded new songs as well as re-recorded versions of some of his biggest hits including “Patola”. In the coming years he would enjoy more blockbuster hits including “High Rated Gabru” and “Lahore”, the latter winning Track of the Year at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards. His profile expanded worldwide after 2019’s “Slowly Slowly”, a collaboration with Pitbull. He collaborated with Jay Sean in 2020 and in 2021 he scored another charting single with “Nain Bengali”.
