Eugenio in Via Di Gioia
Eugenio in Via Di Gioia are an Italian indie band formed in Turin in 2012. The origins of their unique name comes from combining the members Eugenio Cesaro, Emanuele Via and Paolo Di Gioia. Other member Lorenzo Federici may not have featured in the band's moniker but their debut album, released in 2014, was titled with his name.
Initially beginning as street performers, they honed their skills performing a range of songs from a myriad of genres including folk, swing and dance and settled on a more indie-pop sound as they released their debut via Dragonfly Music.
Touring relentlessly across Italy and over Europe, they released second album 'Tutti su per terra' in 2017 amidst ever-growing hype and a more devoted fan base. After signing to major label Universal Music subsidiary Island Records, 'Natura viva' followed in 2019 and the band entered the renowned Sanremo Music Festival 2020 with their track 'Tsunami'. In 2020, the quartet released a compilation of their singles so far entitled 'Tsunami (Forse vi ricorderete di noi per canzoni come)'.
