Lilian Renaud

Lilian Renaud (October 11, 1991) is a French pop singer who won season 4 of the TV program The Voice in 2015. Hailing from the village of Mamirolle, he grew up surrounded by nature and began singing at the age of 10. By the time he was a teenager, he had already picked up the guitar inspired by his discovery of rock music. After obtaining a BTS in cheesemaking in 2011, Lilian Renaud began performing at various local events and festivals. In 2014, he took a sabbatical from his main job as a cheesemaker and enlisted in the Music Academy International in Nancy. That same year, Lilian Renaud traveled to Paris to audition for the 4th season of the reality show The Voice, making the cut and eventually joining Zazie’s team. He reached the grand finale and was crowned winner after a soulful rendition of Judy Garland’s “Over the Rainbow” with American singer Josh Groban. His studio debut Le Bruit de l'Aube saw the light in 2015, and was followed by Le Coeur Qui Cogne in 2016, accompanied by the Zazie-penned single “Savoir dire merci.” In 2019, he released a new album Lilian Renaud, which peaked at Number 7 on the French charts and spawned the single “On en verra encore.” Two years later, Lilian Renaud returned with 2021’s Dans Un Moment de Bonheur, a self-produced album that drew heavily from gospel and folk music.
