Auf dem zweiten Album der Punk-Revival-Formation Billy Talent folgt das Quartett aus Ontario der Spannung, die sie mit ihrem Debüt und ihrem ausgewählten Tourplan erzeugt hat. Durch das Ausmerzen jeder Spur eines zweiten Sturzes überfällt das Album II aus dem Jahre 2006 den Hörer mit Gitarren, Schlagzeug, Bass und Gesang, die auf eine Weise verstärkt sind, dass es scheint, dass das Stereo sie kaum alle bereithalten kann. Es ist ein Leichtes für die Band, sich von den Heerscharen an Punk-Pop-Acts am Markt mit verblüffenden Einschlägen von Hardcore und progressivem Metal zu unterscheiden, allerdings stehen ihre straffen Strukturen und ihre auf Melodie fokussierte Zugänglichkeit immer an der Front und im Zentrum und erbringen den Beweis, dass Billy Talent eine Band ist, mit der man rechnen muss.
