Kjartan Lauritzen

Per Áki Sigurdsson Kvikne (January 12, 1995), better known by his stage name Kjartan Lauritzen, is a Norwegian rapper from the city of Balestrand. He began writing songs during his teenage years and released his first EP Mestertyv in 2015. That same year, he had a major breakthrough with the single “Havanna,” followed by 2016’s “Fredag,” which accumulated over 11 million plays on streaming platforms. In 2017, Kjartan Lauritzen dropped a second EP titled Fenomenet and was nominated in the category of Newcomer of the Year at the P3 Gold Awards. By the time his third EP Game Boy came out in 2019, he was already playing sold-out shows and opening for the likes of Nicki Minaj and Juice Wrld. 2021 marked his return to the music scene with the singles “Million” and “Tada,” which peaked at Number 35 on the Norwegian charts.
