Dj Sandy
Not to be confused with a DJ and producer of the same name in Florida, this DJ Sandy is amongst the biggest acts in electronic music to come out of Belgium. She is part of the team at the famous Munich-based Kosmo Records label, which also has the likes of Tom Novy, Dani Konig, and DJ Tomcraft on its books. DJ Sandy's first real success came in 1999 with the high-energy progressive house single "Overdrive," which made a big splash on the German dance charts. The tune was recorded in collaboration with another Belgian dance maestro, Plexic, under the moniker DJ Sandy vs. Housetrap. In 2000, she again teamed up with Plexic and -- this time under the name of DJ Sandy vs. Sinesweeper -- released the tune "Touch Me."
