Le rock de Cold War Kids se développe ici dans Hold My Home, enrichi par les chouettes aigus du chanteur Nathan Willett. On pourrait même penser à un certain Bono avec la réverb du chant sur Hotel Anywhere. Les membres qui ont récemment rejoint le groupe, Joe Plummer à la batterie et Dann Gallucci à la guitare (également producteur et ingénieur du son) prennent confortablement la relève. On retrouve aussi bien en fond l’influence du Velvet Underground que des chansons apaisantes et plus personnelles comme Harold Bloom.
