The Insyderz
In 1995, (the Insyderz) were formed in Detroit, Michigan after (Joe Yerke) and friend (Nate Sjogren) saw a void in the Christian ska scene. They approached this venture with one mission: to dispense the gospel of Christ and to do it all with the finest rock and roll possible. The six-piece ska band released Motor City Ska in 1995 to much critical acclaim. Their follow-up, Skalleluia, resulted in a Dove Award for the single, "Awesome God." In 1998, the Insyderz became a part of the Christian label Provident and recorded Fight of My Life for KMG records.
