London Cheshire

London Cheshire is known for his affectionate, R&B-tinged pop songs. Also a model and actor, he was best known for his recurring role on the sitcom Young Sheldon before launching his music career with "Uncomfortable" in 2023. Originally hailing from Texas, Cheshire moved with his family to California when he was eight years old. He soon made a habit of riding his bike to watch a neighbor play guitar in his garage, and the neighbor eventually gave London a guitar, which he immediately started playing on a daily basis. He also learned to play his mother's instrument, the piano, as well as drums. Cheshire made his screen acting debut with a bit part in the 2017 horror film The Terror of Hallow's Eve. He was all of ten years old at the time of its festival premiere. After a stint on the action series 9-1-1, where he played the son of Bobby Nash (Peter Krause), he landed a recurring role on the hit CBS sitcom Young Sheldon, playing teenager Marcus Larson in 2019 and 2020. Next up for Cheshire were appearances on the short-lived HBO Max series Gordita Chronicles (2022). In the meantime, the actor booked modeling gigs with major apparel and automobile brands, and he released a cover of Justin Bieber's song "Christmas Eve." He also devoted time to writing and recording his own original songs, which took cues from influences including Bieber and Shawn Mendes. He was 16 years old when Blackground Records 2.0 signed him to release his introspective debut single, "Uncomfortable," in July 2023. The song went on to reach the Top 40 of Billboard's Hot Digital Songs chart. The romance-minded "25/7" followed on the label in December.
