Influenced by musical heroes Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota, Sicilien is the 2008 album from French operatic tenor Roberto Alagna. Inspired by his Sicilian immigrant parents, the Yvan Cassar-produced 13 tracks include interpretations of traditional Italian folk standards ("Sicilia Beddi," "A Lu Mircatu"), original compositions ("Ninna Nanna"), and a reworking of "Parla Piu Piano," aka "Love Theme from The Godfather."

Inspired by his Sicilian immigrant parents, the Yvan Cassar-produced 13 tracks include interpretations of traditional Italian folk standards ("Sicilia Beddi," "A Lu Mircatu"), original compositions ("Ninna Nanna"), and a reworking of "Parla Piu Piano," aka "Love Theme from The Godfather."
