AVAION

German multi-instrumentalist and producer Avaion first burst onto the scene with the release of his 2018 single "Fucked Up." A slew of singles followed and saw him move from introspective rap into pop-infused melancholic house. He released his debut album, Selfreflection, in 2024.Born and raised in southern Germany, Avaion took to music at an early age, playing piano from the age of six before moving on to guitar and keyboards. Finding his feet with his productions, he started initially producing a mix of dubstep and drum'n'bass before moving into trap and introspective, emo-infused rap. In 2018, after uploading tracks to the Internet, he scored his first hit with the track "Fucked Up." The songs "Lost" and "Ride" followed, and in 2019, Avaion inked a deal with Sony to release his future music. Shifting away from the introspective rap that got him signed, he delivered his first single, "When You Go," for Sony in 2020, with its melancholic-sounding house vibe quickly gaining an audience. Over the next few years, Avaion released a slew of singles, including "Pieces," "Sleepless," and "Keep on Dancing." Heading into 2024, he started to ready the release of his debut album, first delivering the tracks "Call My Name" and "You Again." The full-length, Selfreflection, which brought together some of his biggest hits alongside new material, was issued in April and hit the German Top 100 on release.
