Zola
Zola (born Aurélien N'Zuzi Zola on November 16, 1999) is a French hip-hop artist of Congolese descent from Haute-Saône in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, who began his rapping career as a member or the hip-hop collective Osiris. He launched his solo career in 2017 with a series of freestyles entitled #AlloIciZolaski and was soon discovered by renowned producer DJ Kore, who signed him to his AWA label. The following year, further single “California Girls” was featured on the soundtrack for the feature film Taxi 5. In 2019, Zola made his official studio debut with Cicatrices, which featured cameos by rappers Ninho and Noname and obtained platinum certification after selling a total of 144,000 copies. Preceded by the Top 5 singles “Bro bro” and “Wow,” Survie, Zola’s sophomore effort, saw the light in November 2020 and included guest spots by SCH and Leto.
