Tom The Mail Man
Tom the Mail Man is the alias of Sean Brown, a rapper and singer from Georgia who values his outlet -- emotionally transparent, casually melodic, and primarily mellow hip-hop infused with contemporary R&B and emo-pop -- as a form of therapy. He made considerable progress with his early single "Curse3dgirls" (2017), and has remained prolific since then with additional singles and full-length releases like Schizo (2018) and Sunset Visionary, Vol. 2 (2022), all issued through his label, TheDeliveryCrew.
Born Sean Brown, Tom the Mail Man dedicated himself to music during his junior year of high school. The track "Curse3dgirls," originally issued in 2017, went over so well that he booked a concert in Atlanta -- roughly 45 miles west of his native Monroe -- and left behind a college track scholarship to continue pursuing music. A batch of subsequent stray tracks and the nine-song Schizo (featuring two appearances from fellow DeliveryCrew member KotyKillem) followed in 2018. A couple EPs and roughly 20 single tracks arrived during 2019 and 2020, with the full-length Liephas Evil appearing during the latter year. Although his rate of output slowed somewhat in 2021, Tom still offered numerous singles and Sometimes Sorry Isn't Enough, several tracks of which quickly eclipsed seven-digit streaming figures. The acoustic lovelorn ballad "Brown Eyes and Backwoods" was his first 2022 offering. Sunset Visionary, Vol. 2 followed, as well as singles like "Notdead!" and "You're the One I Like Now."
