Naosol & Waxx

Naosol & Waxx are a French folk-rock band formed in Paris in 2007 by singer-guitarists Guillaume Héribere, who goes by the name Naosol, and Benjamin Hekimian, who goes by Waxx, plus bassist Patrick Dethorey and drummer Mathieu Hayout. The two leads both garnered attention via online channels and came together to release an album titled '1968' in 2009. It sold well and they played at several festivals across France. Their singles include 'Clint Eastwood', 'P.I.M.P.' and 'Banana Frankenstein', which appear on a 2011 EP titled 'Jim Class Hero'. A second album, 'Game Over?' came out in 2012 after which Héribere and Hekimian focussed on solo projects.
