Myra
Mexican-descendant singer Myra had her breakthrough while opening for teen pop sensation Aaron Carter in February 2001 after getting her version of classic "Dancing in the Street" featured on the animated Recess: School's Out. Myra was born and raised in the U.S., proud of her Latin heritage. She grew up listening to Mexican traditional and dance-pop music and recorded her debut album at the age of 15, which featured the song "Miracles Happen (When You Believe)" from the Princess Diaries movie soundtrack. Myra made her debut as an actress while playing a role in the motion picture Max Keesle's Big Move.
