Mink's
Cameroonian rapper Mink's, whose real name is Stéphane Franck Minkada, was born in Douala on August 19, 1991. He began writing lyrics at the age of 17 and entered several rap competitions, encouraged by his friends. His various entries first brought him local recognition. At the age of 22, he released the mixtape I'm MIN, which attracted the attention of the Ach4life label. The latter offered him his first contract and gave him the opportunity to record the 14-track album Ivoire Noir, released in 2014. His reputation grew with effective tracks such as "Sponsor" with Salatiel, "Le Number", "Panther" and "Le Gars est laid". After Tranches de Vie in 2016, he embarked on several internationally resonant collaborations such as "Couper l'appétit " with Beninese Fanicko and "Ça va te tuer" with Congolese DJ Kenny. After the success of the single "Officialisé " in 2019, he followed this up with a third album in 2021, called Urban Bantou, which enabled him to embark on a major tour that saw him criss-cross several European countries.
