Loveable Rogues
Finding fame when they appeared on Britain's Got Talent in 2012, the Loveable Rogues (Eddie Bratt, Sonny Jay Muharrem, Te Eugene Qhairo) were formed in Chingford, England in 2010. Their cheery blend of pop, indie, and R&B caught the attention of producers of the British TV talent show, and they were soon asked to audition for the sixth series of the show to later controversy. At the initial audition, they wowed audiences and the judges with their own composition, "Lovesick," and were unanimously put through to the semi-final. Once there, the trio performed another self-penned song, "Honest," and were nominated to perform in the final. They finished fourth behind Only Boys Aloud, Jonathan & Charlotte, and overall winner Ashleigh & Pudsey. Afterwards, they were signed to Simon Cowell's Syco label. Their debut single, "What a Night," reached number nine in the U.K. Top 40 chart. Soon after, it was announced that they were to be the support act to Olly Murs on his nationwide tour. Sadly, in 2013, Syco dropped the boys from the label, citing disappointing sales and lack of public interest. The group announced they were recording new material and released an EP called Honest in May 2014. They subsequently organized tour dates and continued with sessions for their debut album.
