Clavish
British rapper Cian Wright (aka Clavish) fluctuates between U.K. drill and trap, delivering hard-hitting lyrics with a rare honesty about his past over sparse beats.
Hailing from Stamford Hill, London, Clavish first surfaced in 2018 with the release of "All These Funds." However, he wouldn't break through until 2020, after appearing on GRM Daily. The singles he released in 2021, "One of a Kind" and "Like This," amassed millions of listens leading up to his debut EP, 2022, which also marked his signing to Universal subsidiary Polydor Records. Although the hype around him had grown considerably, he didn't really engage with the press, remaining aloof and distant whilst letting his music do the talking. His debut mixtape, Rap Game Awful, appeared in 2023 and placed fourth on the U.K. Albums Chart.
