Bleu Valentine

French author, composer and performer. His repertoire is composed of titles sung mainly in English. Born of a French mother of Cambodian origin whose parents were part of the Cambodian "nobility", they will have to flee in extreme conditions the country then in prey to one of the greatest genocides, that perpetrated in 1975 by the regime of the Khmer Rouges and a French father with Belgian and Italian ancestry, from a working class environment and small traders. It is in the 90s, that Bleu Valentine appears to his parents. Introduced to the guitar by his father, an amateur musician and fan of Paul Weller and the Beatles but also of French songs from Serge Gainsbourg to Charles Trenet. Bleu Valentine will be rocked by these musics all his childhood. On her side, his mother will not stop encouraging him in his artistic ambitions, convinced of her son's talent. Her pragmatic analysis will also be a determining factor in helping him make the right decisions. In the family, music and cinema are very present in the discussions at the table.

After studying law and audiovisual (he graduated from Esra Paris), Bleu Valentine has been writing and composing since he was 16 years old only for pleasure, devoting himself mainly to his professional activity, that of running his small business. It is his father who pushes him to launch out in the musical creation. The period of Covid-19 will be the opportunity to launch the artistic project Bleu Valentine with the recording of a first single: "Dreams" in its acoustic version, available since March 2021 on all music streaming platforms. The release of the EP is planned for September 2022.

Bleu Valentine often draws its inspiration from the things of our daily lives and its musical influences range from the Beatles through Ben Harper to Benjamin Biolay.
