Como sugiere su título, A Kind Revolution es un de los discos más apacibles de Paul Weller. Combinando el sonido espacioso de Saturn's Pattern con los acentos soul de Wild Wood, A Kind Revolution es seguramente su disco más espontáneo de la última década. Como sugiere su título, A Kind Revolution es un de los discos más apacibles de Paul Weller. Combinando el sonido espacioso de Saturn's Pattern con los acentos soul de Wild Wood, A Kind Revolution es seguramente su disco más espontáneo de la última década. Si bien las sorpresivas participaciones de Boy George en "One Tear" y de Robert Wyatt en "She Moves with the Fayre" sugieren que Weller siempre está dispuesto a probar nuevas direcciones, el álbum en general exuda una atmósfera íntima y confortable, algo bastante inusual en la discografía del cantautor británico.
