Cindy Bédard
Born in Saint-Tite (Canada) in 1987, Cindy Bédard is a country singer from Quebec. She began her career in 2005, taking part in music competitions including Secondaire en spectacle. In the years that followed, she performed at a number of Quebec festivals, including the FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières, where she opened for singer Patrick Norman. She released a five-song self-titled debut EP in 2013. Her debut album, Fille du Vent , is released in May 2014, featuring a duet with Paul Daraîche on the song " J'fais ma luck ". Cindy Bédard wins the Willie for Discovery of the Year at the 2015 Country Gala. The following year, she launched her album Cœur Sédentaire at the Festival Western de St-Tite. She wins Female Performer of the Year at the 2016 Country Gala and Songwriter of the Year in 2017. In 2017, she opened for country artist Paul Daraîche. In March 2020, she releases a new opus entitled Après l'Orage , followed by a series of virtual shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In October 2021, she receives the Country Music Award at the SOCAN gala. In 2022 and 2023, she accompanies Paul Daraîche on the Contre Vents et Marées tour, along with Annie Blanchard and Émilie Daraîche.
