Margarita
Margarita's career started in 1998 in Rio Grande Valley, TX. The artist debuted with a self-titled album after EMI signed her up. That record included Margarita's first hit single "Te Juro." In 1999, the singer was awarded for being the Rising Star Female at the 19th Tejano Music Awards. The following year, Margarita and her band called Mezzcal were nominated for Most Promising Band, Female Entertainer of the Year, and Female Vocalist of the Year.
