C’est déjà le troisième album de YoungBoy Never Broke Again. Successeur de Top (2020), il a envoyé en émissaires pas moins de cinq singles : « Toxic Punk », « White Teeth », « Nevada », « Life Support » et « On My Side ». Avec un terrain ainsi préparé, Sincerely, Kentrell s’est octroyé la première place des charts américains dès sa sortie, en dépit d’un manque d’homogénéité certain, principalement dû à sa longueur. Frôlant l’heure de musique, le disque abrite en effet pas moins de 21 titres (23 dans la version de luxe), dont certains seront vite oubliés, notamment les ballades R&B au piano très ancrées dans les années 1990 et sans réelle personnalité, comme « Life Support ». Pas mal de frustrations naissent de morceaux trop basiques comme « Rich Shit » ou « Level I Want to Reach », mais l’écoute d’autres pièces dont « My Killa » ou « Nevada », touchant de sincérité, humanisent un rappeur qui raconte ses combats contre la souffrance, les traumatismes passés et les addictions diverses.
