The first solo album by Paulinho Moska, a pop singer/composer who has attempted MPB. In this album, there is no Brazilian music, just contemporary pop grooves, with the exception of some moments in "Careta" dedicated to baião and coco, a tribute to Jackson do Pandeiro ("Cantiga do Sapo," Jackson/Buco do Pandeiro), the fundamental figure of Northeastern music, and other eventual percussion, as in "Camaleão." More intelligent than the average pop composer, Moska's lyrics struggle to break the ties with commonplace thinking, even if betraying a flagrant ingenuity. This album had the hit "O Último Dia," but the most creative melody is "Camaleão," with its 5/4 time signature.
