A month after Westside Gunn issued Hitler Wears Hermes 8: Sincerely Adolf, he offered Side B. Twenty minutes longer -- a shade too long to fit on one side of a 120-minute cassette -- it's consequently a more scattered affair. A fair portion of the cuts are up to the standard of the parent release, perhaps deemed simply not a good fit. Gunn is in top incisive form on "TV BOY," a rare unaccompanied track, which with its dusty thump and faint glimmer sounds like a prowl down a dimly lit corridor where a crime scene remained undiscovered for years. The guest spots, whether made by the Griselda crew or passing associates, are remarkably consistent, led by Benny the Butcher and Conway the Machine on the crisp Mobb Deep-referencing "Hell on Earth, Pt. 2," and Steve God Cooks on multiple tracks, including the theatrical hustler's soliloquy "Ostertag."
