Seit 2018 veröffentlichen Depeche Mode nach und nach zu ihren Studioalbum Boxsets, in denen die dazugehörigen 12"-Singles neu aufgelegt werden. 2021 ist die wegweisende Band beim neunten Album Ultra von 1997 angekommen, auf dem sich die Gruppe nach einer schwierigen Zeit mit Hilfe von Bomb-the-Bass-Mastermind Tim Simenon als Produzent wieder höchst kreativ zeigte. Ultra warf die vier Singles "Barrel of a Gun", "It's No Good", "Home" und "Useless" ab, die in jeweils zwei Teilen veröffentlicht wurden - wobei im Falle von "Home" und "Useless" der zweite Part seinerzeit nur auf CD veröffentlicht wurde, hier also seine Vinyl-Erstauflage findet. Auf den acht Maxis finden sich vor allem spannende Remixe von Musikern wie Underworld, Andrea Parker, CJ Bolland, Kruder & Dorfmeister oder Justin Warfields Band One Inch Punch.
