Paru en 2016, All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend, premier album de l'auteure-compositrice-interprète norvégienne Aurora Aksnes, alias Aurora, succède au succès du maxi Running with the Wolves et à sa reprise du "Half the World Away" d'Oasis paru en 2015, année qui a vu la notoriété de la chanteuse monter en flèche. Axé sur des percussions imposantes, quelques oripeaux électroniques et de belles mélodies émanant de son piano, le canevas musical proposé par Aurora sert d'écrin à son timbre de voix pour un ensemble évoquant quelques-unes de ses contemporaines comme Lorde ou Lykke Li.
