Siempre abierto a nuevos desafíos, tras publicar un álbum de tangos en 2013 el cantaor de flamenco Miguel Poveda regresa con un disco basado en textos de poetas y cantautores. Musicalizados por Pedro Guerra y Juan Gómez Chicuelo y con arreglos de Joan Albert Amargós, los quince poemas que componen Sonetos y poemas para la libertad fueron seleccionados por el poeta y crítico literario granadino Luis García Montero y corresponden a autores mayores de la literatura iberoamericana como Quevedo, Neruda, Borges, García Lorca, o Miguel Hernández, además de a cantautores como el ya mencionado Pedro Guerra, Luis Eduardo Aute y Joaquín Sabina. Este último figura también entre los invitados del disco, junto a Ana Belén y Miguel Ríos.

Presentación del Álbum
Siempre abierto a nuevos desafíos, tras publicar un álbum de tangos en 2013 el cantaor de flamenco Miguel Poveda regresa con un disco basado en textos de poetas y cantautores. Musicalizados por Pedro Guerra y Juan Gómez Chicuelo y con arreglos de Joan Albert Amargós, los quince poemas que componen Sonetos y poemas para la libertad fueron seleccionados por el poeta y crítico literario granadino Luis García Montero y corresponden a autores mayores de la literatura iberoamericana como Quevedo, Neruda, Borges, García Lorca, o Miguel Hernández, además de a cantautores como el ya mencionado Pedro Guerra, Luis Eduardo Aute y Joaquín Sabina. Este último figura también entre los invitados del disco, junto a Ana Belén y Miguel Ríos.
