Por fin los astros se han alineado y nos traen de vuelta a Snoop Dogg. Tras el capítulo reggae que supuso Reincarnated en 2013, firmado por su alias Snoop Lion, el californiano hace ahora un voto piadoso y nos entrega nada menos que un disco de gospel. ¡Y además doble! Así que Snoop Dogg recurre a invitados como Faith Evans, The Clark Sisters, Mary Mary, B Slade, John P. Kee, Fred Hammond, entre otros ilustres, para suministrar 32 cortes en los que encontramos un poco de todo, desde R&B de aromas noventeros (Sunshine Fell Good, Sunrise), a veces potentes y fervorosos (Bible Of Love), a un soul de metales retro (One More Day y On Time con B Slade) o sintetizadores que nos trasladan directamente a los 70 (Come as You Are), y por supuesto gospel y grandes momentos hip-hop (Changed con Jazze Pha o Chizzle con Daz Dillinger). Vaya, que Snoop trabaja con los mejores mimbres, y como lo hace con amor y pasión el resultado se nos antoja tremendamente bueno. Y como guinda al pastel, ese Change The World donde interviene el pastor John P. Kee y que nos permite escuchar en plenitud de facultades al propio Doggfather. Un lanzamiento que dará que hablar.
