Su look no ha cambiado nada. Y su cóctel de rock vintage, trufado de soul y funk, tampoco. No obstante, Lenny Kravitz suele echar la casa por la ventana a cada nuevo lanzamiento. En este caso el decimoprimero, un trabajo autoproducido que vuelve a confirmarnos sus dotes como songwriter, pero así mismo como intérprete. Y es que, como siempre, el neoyorquino vuelve a invocar la herencia de sus artistas favoritos (Marvin Gaye, Prince, Curtis Mayfield, John Lennon, Bill Withers) para reapropiársela y confeccionar el más puro sonido Kravitz. Ya sean altamente personales e introspectivas o abiertamente concebidas para poner a saltar a las masas, las canciones de esta hornada 2018 oscilan sin complejos entre los trallazos funky, los himnos coreables en estadios y los temazos orientados a las pistas de baile. Y en el single Low el amigo Lenny cuenta con un invitado muy especial (y virtual) que le pone aquí y allá unos grititos: ¡Michael Jackson!
