Xia Hu
Chinese singer and actor Hu Xia was born in Nanning on March 1, 1990. His Mandopop career began when he competed on the television show One million Star Contest. He triumphed on the show at the 2010 finale and immediately began a recording career with the 2010 album Hu Love Xia. He recorded his signature hit, “Those Bygone Years”, for the romantic comedy/drama you Are the Apple of My Eye, which was released in 2011. He began his acting career with Sad Fairy Tale in 2012, the same year he released his sophomore album, Flame of Love. The LPs Silly Tango and Love Odyssey followed, and his popularity was so great that he had three different acting gigs in 2015, Money Game, The Left Ear, and Roco Kingdom 4. He focused more on acting over the next few years, but returned with his fifth album, Reading the Old, in 2019.
